Commuter Train Boarding Station

When the train platform in Lebanon, TN needed replacement, the city reached out to TufTile for assistance. TufTile surface-applied polymer has a low-profile beveled edge, which made this ADA detectable warning tile ideal for the intended installation. The engineer of record along with the project manager, local officials, and TufTile’s regional sales manager, worked together to obtain the proper approvals and to ensure the tiles were installed correctly. Since that time, the tiles have continued to withstand the immense pedestrian traffic the station experiences throughout the day. The integrity of the resin has continued to perform without chipping, peeling, or fading.
